Our Food

Our meals are fully vegetarian and all freshly prepared onsite by our dedicated chef and hardworking team of volunteers. We endeavour to provide food which is nourishing, varied and enjoyable, making mealtimes a joy-time with lots of opportunity to catch up with old friends, make new ones, and enjoy a communal feast.

All meals are served in a buffet-style, enabling you to build your own plate from the selection of dishes provided. As part of our ethical commitment, we work closely with Greencity a co-operative in Glasgow whose products are ethically sourced and often organic.

Meals are typically structured as follows:

Breakfast – Fresh fruit salad; porridge (vegan); muesli; cereal selection; dairy & non-dairy yoghurts; seed mix; boiled eggs; granary toast; jams and spreads; fruit juices, teas and coffee.

Lunch – Soup (vegan); homemade bread; lunch dish (e.g. quiche, falafel, frittata); grain salad (e.g. quinoa salad; tabbouleh); dressed leafy salad.

Dinner – Main dish; side dish(es) and/or dips; leafy salad or vegetable selection; dessert

Complementary teas, coffee and hot chocolate are provided throughout your stay and there is a small selection of ethically-sourced snacks and treats available for purchase.
