Job Title: Centre Chef
Reports To: Stephen and Victoria Mulhearn
Hours: 32 hours per week
Part time position: Pending trial period
Salary: To be arranged
Working days: Thursday – Sunday, with varied times, includes evenings
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Centre Chef will liaise with staff and volunteers to support the work and smooth running of the kitchen. Creating delicious, healthy, nutritious food and holding a loving, supportive energy for everyone.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES, TASKS & DUTIES
- Co-ordinate volunteers for food prep and cleaning duties in kitchen
- Actively organise new volunteers
- Managing and actively engaging in good housekeeping and kitchen cleanliness
- An active role which requires moving and handling
- Manage needs of groups and problem solving
- Plan food prep, menu planning and use time management for future planning
- Communicating with groups, teachers, guests and volunteers
- Helping team in the kitchen if required
- Being an inspirational and motivational presence
- Work closely with colleagues and volunteers to ensure manifestation of Lendrick’s vision
- To complete any other duties that may be reasonably required
