As human beings we are hard-wired to seek social connection, to connect with and care for others, to create bonds of community and compassion. So why, in our day-to-day lives, can relationships with ourselves and others around us sometimes cause and create further suffering? We explore this question and find positive movement forward through the journey of yoga.
This is a brand-new weekend to refine and deepen both our personal and extended relationships in the company of kindred spirits walking the path of yoga.
Join Ann and Patricia in taking time for yourself, and for yoga, using accessible practices including postures, breathing, chanting and meditation.
Ann Hunter has been practising yoga since 1979 and this way of life has both nourished and enhanced her healing journey. As a yoga teacher and therapist, Ann has supported many students over the years to find more joy and wellness in their body, through the spirit of yoga. Her decades of exploration into the roots and heart of yoga are passed on to you in this nourishing environment of growth, support and rejuvenation.
Patricia Ace has been practicing yoga since the early 1990s. Over the years she has been increasingly drawn to the tradition of Krishnamacharya and Desikachar, inspired by a keen interest in yoga philosophy and the therapeutic and healing applications of yoga.
Her teaching focuses on dynamic sequences of breath and movement and seated breathing practices. Use of chanting, meditation and study of yoga texts form an integral part of this full weekend.
It’s time to flow more nurturance and support into your relationship with life.
